Outside of work, Ron enjoys all sports including off shore fishing, boating, golf and traveling with favorite destination points in the Caribbean.
Please join us in welcoming Darin Smith to Carotek, Inc. Darin is an Inside Sales Rep for the Georgia market supporting Mechanical Products, Instruments & Filtration. Darin enjoys cooking, hiking, bowling and golf.
Darin's diverse experience begins when he joined the Navy. He is an Armed Forces Service Medal Veteran having served during the Persian Gulf War. Darin then worked as a civilian contractor in the South Pacific where he spent 10 years tracking satellites. He then worked for Lockheed Martin in ballistic missile defense in Turkey.
Joining Carotek as a Pump Fabricator, please meet Colby Lowe. Colby’s responsibilities include pump/blower skid fabrication and other general fabrication duties in the Mechanical Shop. Colby holds a Welding Certificate from Gaston College and possesses 10+ years’ experience in MIG, TIG, stick and flux core arch welding and fabrication.
Colby is a native North Carolinian. Fishing, hunting, playing guitar and karaoke singing occupy any free time he may find.
Hieu Son has joined us as a part-time intern in the Systems Integration Group. Hieu will assist and support the Systems Designers by performing electrical design tasks - layouts, detailed drawings, assembly drawings and diagrams.
A current University of North Carolina at Charlotte student majoring in Electrical Engineering Technology, Hieu is expected to graduate this May. In his off time, he enjoys playing badminton, ping pong and especially exploring Charlotte eateries.
Please join us in welcoming Elijah Tipton to Carotek. Elijah is currently a student at the University of North Carolina Charlotte majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology and will be graduating this May. Elijah is working as a part-time intern in the Mechanical Integration Group, assisting the team in estimating, planning, designing process skids will provide Elijah real world exposure and a gateway into engineering roles here at Carotek.
Elijah is native to North Carolina. When he’s not focusing on his studies, he enjoys fishing, hunting, participating in and watching sports - in particular rooting on the Charlotte Hornets and Atlanta Braves.
