Level Instrumentation Training: L-100
Carotek offers Level Instrumentation L100 training for PDH credits by application specialists in our state-of-the-art training lab.
Training
This is a basic fundamental course (4 hours) for Guided Wave and Free Space Radar Level for maintenance technicians. We will dedicate a half day to Radar technology to give you a basic understanding of this level measurement technology. The class will be primarily classroom presentation, product demonstration, group discussion, and a small amount of hands-on training with working table top units. There will be a live installation demonstration on a PTU® (Process Training Unit).
This course is an excellent primer for those who plan to attend specialized schools such as Flow, Level and other schools offered. The course will specifically cover:

At the conclusion of the course, attendees will be able to:

Gain a basic awareness of Radar level technology and understand its strengths and limitations

Work with instrumentation specialists to specify the best type of level technology for a variety of installations

Set up and commission E+H Radar level instruments

Use PC-based software tools to setup E+H Radar level instruments and verify the health of the instrument and its signals

Diagnose and correct problems associated with radar level systems
