Dan Spitzer joins the Virginia Products Group as an Inside Sales Representative.  Dan possesses 20+ years of experience in business development, strategic selling and technical support. A proven sales expert in engineered process equipment, material handling, industrial machinery and components to industrial, manufacturing, commercial and municipal markets, he has an unwavering commitment to customer service. Prior to joining Carotek, Dan was Technical Sales Specialist with Patton’s Inc. where he was responsible for direct sales of advanced compressed air, gas, vacuum systems, cooling towers, chillers and accessories.

A Virginia native, Dan grew up in Hugo, MN. When not busy with his two grown children and six grandchildren, he enjoys hiking, camping and traveling the beautiful state of Virginia. He also spends a great deal of time as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Richmond Rebuild and various men’s groups through his church.

Bao Luong joins Carotek's Instrument Products Group as an Inside Sales Representative. Prior to joining Carotek, Bao was a Business Development Rep. for Ncontracts, where he was responsible for qualifying leads and customizing product solutions to increase customer satisfaction, among other things. He also has 10 years’ experience in the food retail industry, including Restaurant Manager for Miro’s Spanish Grille.

A native Charlottean, Bao possesses a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from High Point University, and he is currently pursuing his Master’s of Arts Degree in Communication and Business Leadership. When free time allows, he enjoys swimming, hiking and outdoor fitness activities. An adventurous type, he loves trying new foods, reading and traveling. The Far East holds particular interest with Vietnam as a favorite destination point.

JJ Hall Welcome to our newest Field Service Technician, primarily for the Georgia territory, JJ Hall. JJ is a Level Two Service technician with over four years of experience in the food service equipment repair industry. Previous work experience was with Archway Services and Hobart Service, among others. He is knowledgeable in electric, gas and steam principles, has an unwavering commitment to making customers happy, the ability to resolving complex issues and winning customer loyalty.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, he was raised in Warner, GA. He and his wife, Cari, are kept busy with their three children – Lilah (4), Rowan (2) and Therin (newborn). JJ is an avid reader – devouring anything from literature to comic books – and he is currently penning a mid-evil fantasy novel.

Juliana Ribero joins our Georgia Products Group as an Inside Sales Rep. Juliana comes to us with an extensive technical background and successful track record offering optimal and reliable instrumentation solutions for applications in the Oil and Gas, Cement, Food & Beverage, Power Generation, Chemical Process and Automation industries. Previous positions have included Application Engineer/Latin America Sales Specialist with Kobold Instruments in Pittsburgh, PA where she interpreted customer technical requirements and translated them into quotes and sales in flow, pressure, level and temperature; Procurement Representative for SOCAVAL, a Venezuelan steel company contractor where she identified suppliers and negotiated terms to purchase check valves, flanges, elbows and piping; Project Engineer with Hytek Engineering, an Authorized Rockwell Distributor and Software Marketing Coordinator for Rockwell Automation among others.

Juliana possesses a Master in Business Administration and a B.S. in Electronic Engineering. Originally from Venezuela, Juliana has lived in Cary, Atlanta and Pittsburgh and was excited to return to the Marietta, GA area. She has two grown children, is a fitness fanatic, enjoys music and all outside, hot weather activities.
