ROTARY LOBE PUMPS CUSTOMIZED TO YOUR APPLICATION

No matter if stationary, mobile or submerged, all pump components are selected individually according to the requirements of every single application. With our two series of BLUEline and ONIXline, the portfolio of 24 pump sizes with flow rates of 1 - 7,000 usgpm (1 and 1,600 m³/h) and pressure stabilities of up to 230 psi (16 bar), Börger can offer the perfect pump for every single application.

ROTARY LOBE PUMP OPERATING PRINCIPLE

Börger Rotary Lobe Pumps are self-priming , valveless, reversible positive displacement pumps. The even rotation of the rotor pair creates a vacuum on the priming side of the pump, which can be defined by the direction of rotation of the drive. This vacuum draws the liquid into the pump chamber. With further rotation, the pumped medium is conveyed past the pump wall into the pressure area. Up to six chamber charges are displaced with each drive rotation– depending on the rotor type. When the rotor is at a standstill, the pump seals off almost completely. Pump output up to 1,600 m³/h (7,050 usgpm/h) Pump head - type-specific - max. 160 m (524 in.)

BORGER BLUELINE PUMP SERIES

The solids-resistant BLUEline rotary lobe pump has been used successfully in different sectors for many years due to it's reliability and long service life.

  • Flow rates of 4.4 - 7,050 usgpm (1 - 1,600 m³/h)
  • Pressure-resistant up to 174 psi (12 bar)
  • Börger has been building rotary lobe pumps for more than 20 years and offers you a range of 20 different pump sizes.

UNIQUE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD:  THE WIDE VARIETY OF ROTORS

Each pump size has up to 9 different rotor geometries available in various materials. The specially patented design ensures that the sturdy rotor core and the shaft remain untouched by the pump medium at all times. Due to the many different factors involved when selecting the right rotor, the special requirements of the customer are always taken into account. Rotors are available in all sizes to be fitted into any rotary lobe pump previously supplied, whether it was bought 20 years ago or just last year.

ONIXLINE

The ONIXline rotary lobe pumps were developed by means of the most advanced flow simulation technology and experience in rotary lobe pump construction from several decades. The pump stands for gentle, practically pulsation-free pumping with maximized efficiency. The large sealing chamber makes the use of different sealing systems possible.

  • Flow rates of 4.4 - 595 usgpm (1 - 135 m³/h)
  • Pressure-resistant up to 232 psi (16 bar)
  • Highest flexibility when it comes to the sealing system

SUBMERGED AND SEMI-SUBMERGED PUMPS

Börger rotary lobe pumps have been successfully used for many years in almost all industrial sectors and convey a wide range of different media. Submerged pumps are required again and again. Submerged and semi-submerged pumps are used if dry installation is not possible due to the NPSH value of the plant. The compact design, chemical resistance and ability to pump highly viscous media without problems are the reasons why the Börger rotary lobe pump is an ideal submerged or semi-submerged pump.
